Ordering is Monday through Sunday night at Midnight PST for shipping the following week. This is to ensure that orders can be delivered by the following Saturday at the latest. Shipping times vary based on the distance the shipment has to travel. Please reference the tracking number included in your shipping confirmation email to track when your order will arrive.
All orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx. Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email, which will include a tracking number. Standard shipping is generally 1-3 business days (not guaranteed) and we do deliver on Saturdays. We cannot guarantee the time frame or shipment delivery date for any shipping method, but we will try our very best to get you your broth in a timely manner.
Free Shipping: is applicable only for orders of $150 or more.
Risk of Loss: All orders are made pursuant to a shipment contract meaning that the risk of loss and title for such orders pass to you upon Bonafide Provisions’ delivery of the order to the UPS/FedEx shipping center. We encourage you to use the tracking information supplied for your order to track and retrieve items promptly.
Order Arrival: Our broths are shipped frozen and should be refrigerated or frozen upon delivery to ensure freshness.
All sales are final after 2 hours from the time the order was placed. Once an order has exceeded the 2-hour window to change/cancel your order, no changes/cancellations are possible. Similarly, if you wish to add to your order, Bonafide Provisions reserves the right to treat any additions as a second order incurring additional shipping charges.

A true bone broth uses just bones, no meat, and is slow simmered for no less than 18 hours to ensure maximum collagen and nutrient content.
Our broth is frozen immediately after it’s made to preserve nutrients at their peak. We never use preservatives, stabilizers, or high-heat pasteurization.

All of our beef bones are from organic, grassfed and grass-finished cattle. They are raised with minimal interference and are allowed to roam freely in green pastures. They are never supplemented with corn or soy feed.

All our products are certified organic, with the exception of our Frontier Blend.
Although our Frontier Blend is not certified organic it actually reaches beyond the requirements of what even organic requires. Because the availability of organic lamb and bison bones is limited, they are not certified organic however all of the lamb and bison bones come from 100% pasture-raised animals and independently owned small family farms. They are raised with minimal interference and they are never given antibiotics or hormones. They have full access to pasture for the entirety of their lives and the farmers who raise them follow strict and stringent humane animal welfare practices.
How To Use
One of the most beautiful things about bone broth is that it's versatile. Our favorite way to use it is just as it is, warmed up in a mug. Bone Broth makes a fantastic alternative to coffee or tea. Not only that, but its protein content makes it an excellent choice for a snack between meals. We love using our bone broth as a base for our soups, stews, and sauces. Our broth is good for 1 year in the freezer (check the use-by date). Once defrosted, the broth is good for up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
The amount of broth you drink can depend on the reasons you are drinking it! If you are using it to maintain health and wellness, we recommend drinking 6-8 ounces per day. If you are using it to address more chronic, serious issues, we recommend using upwards of 24 ounces per day. Please always consult your health care practitioner to determine which protocol works best for your bio-individuality.
FROM FROZEN: For best results, remove your bone broth from freezer and thaw in refrigerator for 24 hours. Once defrosted open and poor desired amount of broth into a small stockpot. Heat over medium heat until you reach a simmer, stirring occasionally.
QUICK THAW: Place your frozen bone broth - still sealed in plastic bag - in a bowl or sink of hot water for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it can be broken into pieces. Open the bag; invert contents into a small stockpot and follow above instructions.
We always recommend using a stovetop to gently heat your bone broth. We understand that convenience doesn’t always allow for that, so as long as you’re using a microwave safe dish, it is fine to heat your broth on a low setting.
We have had lab testing done on our broths for heavy metal and lead content, and there are no detectable levels of lead in any of our broths. If you're still worried, we'll be happy to provide you with more information. Please contact us via the contact link in our footer.
This labeling is required by the USDA because the USDA does not currently recognize bones as an approved ingredient. Unlike other brands, we do not and will never add extra filler broth to our recipe. When making our broth we ONLY use bones, triple-filtered water, apple cider vinegar, and select herbs and spices.
When collagen cools it turns into gelatin. This jello-like quality of our broth is evidence that it's full of collagen and it's something we're very proud of. It's our mission to ensure that every batch of broth we make contains the maximum amount of collagen, which is why we've obsessively tested our ingredients and preparation methods.

In order to give bone broth a longer shelf life in the refrigerator, one of two things has to happen: an acidic preservative is added (citric or lactic acid) or it must be hot filled in a plastic pouch. Because most citric and lactic acids are made from GMO molds or sugars, we will never add those to our broths because it would compromise the nutrient-dense, healing properties.
We don't believe in hot-filling our broth to increase it's shelf stability. This process can lead to the leaching of plastic components into the bone broth. Our broth is always cooled completely before being filled in our BPA + EA free bags.
